God created the family. He saw fit that Man should have a fitting companion or, as the bible calls it, “help meet.” (Gen. 2:18). He called her woman because she has a womb and is like a man. While men display the disciplinary qualities of the Lord, they are also the foundation of the home, and the head. women display His nurturing qualities, guides the children, and offers counsel to the man. So with the enemy launching an all-out attack on the biblical idea of marriage, we have to stand up for these values because children are the ones to suffer for it. Studies show that “children from fatherless homes are more likely to be poor, become involved in drug and alcohol abuse, drop out of school, and suffer from health and emotional problems.
